About CITA
The Colorado Interpreters & Translators Association is an independent 501(c)6 nonprofit association established by and for translators and interpreters.
The association represents more than 150 members in Colorado and beyond, including translators, interpreters and language service providers.
CITA is entirely volunteer-run and led by a Board of Directors elected by the membership. Our purpose is twofold:
- We provide professional resources for language professionals, and
- We help connect people and companies with the local language services they need
CITA is a chapter of the American Translators Association (ATA)
In 2013, we became an official chapter of the American Translators Association. We encourage our members to participate in ATA events and to join ATA. Additionally, CITA benefits from a chapter dues rebate if you check the corresponding box on your ATA membership renewal form!
CITA Membership
Membership is open to any professional linguist, without regard to sex, race, creed or national origin, or language, as well as institutions or legal entities upon agreeing to abide by our Bylaws and payment of our annual dues.
