CTA Annual Conference – Registration is Open!

by Thaïs Lips, CTA president

CTA Conference 2015We have gone to great lengths to bring you some of the best and most interesting sessions we could fit into our two-day schedule. You will have to make some hard choices, given the combination of seasoned and acclaimed presenters in our industry, as well as presenters specializing in other relevant subjects such as law and marketing. You will have a total of 12 sessions to choose from on Saturday, and three sessions on Sunday, all of them tailor-made to fit our needs and interests.

This year, the University of Denver is sponsoring our conference, and this means a great endorsement to our program.

SDL will be partially sponsoring our full-day Studio 2014 workshop on Sunday.

If you live outside of Boulder, we encourage you to come and stay at the Millennium Harvest House in Boulder together with Board members who, like me, also live farther away. We were able to lock in a rate for conference attendees, until April 15th, and you will find instructions on how to make your reservation upon registering for the conference. We promote room sharing; it is more affordable, and will give you the opportunity to engage in some deeper networking. Ask for a roommate on our Yahoo email list or Facebook group.

To make the most of your conference:

  • Don’t miss our happy hour on Friday at Brasserie Ten Ten;
  • Conference meals: both vegetarian and gluten-free options will be available;
  • Remember to bring your hiking shoes if you want to enjoy the Flatirons with your peers after lunch on Saturday!

You will find detailed information on the conference at our program page.  Please register here now, the early bird discount ends on April 15.

The Board is very pleased and glad to announce that conference registration is open, and I want to acknowledge that we could not have achieved this if it were not for the great teamwork of the CTA Board.

See you in May!
