You may be aware that the Colorado Interpreters & Translators Association is a Chapter of the American Translators Association. CTA members for many years have made extensive contributions as ATA volunteers as well. At the most recent ATA conference, #ATA62 in Minneapolis, MN, CTA member Eve Bodeux was re-elected to serve a 3-year term on the ATA Board of Directors, joining CTA Secretary Robert Sette, who was elected in 2021.
Additionally, CTA Past-President Mery Molenaar took the helm of the ATA Science & Technology Division. Her term as S&TD Administrator will run through the ATA Conference held in Fall 2023.
This conference marked the conclusion of CTA member Karen Tkaczyk‘s service on the ATA Board. She served as director and more recently completed 2 terms as ATA Secretary.
